An Affordable Housing property we funded.  Has mix of Family, Senior, GrandParents raising grand & foster kids.

The property is probably the equivalent of Gold LEED (but is not certified.) It employs renewable materials throughout, has a water run-off system and bio swales; re-uses rain water run-off as visual amenity and landscape watering; uses communal kitchen/living spaces to cut down on individual interior apartment sizes; is near good public transportation; has porous paving (for water / rain percolation) using natural materials;  uses solar panels for electricity in common areas, and uses passive solar shading throughout; uses CFLs and other green friendly lighting.  I'm sure I'm not listing all the green features.
